Both run service work from a phone. Jobber has been at it a long time with home-service businesses. Here's how they line up, as straight as I can make it.
01 Jobber pricing
Prices as listed on their site on November 2, 2026.
Jobber also lists lower monthly prices with a 1-year commitment or annual billing. Plans and prices change, so check Jobber’s pricing page for today’s.
02 Price
Mix normal seats and AI seats in one company. Sales tax is added where it applies.
03 Where Jobber is stronger
Jobber is built around home-service businesses and has years of track record with them. If that's your shop, a lot of people like you already use it.
Its plans include things Tech Ops doesn't have: a professional website, online job booking, automated reminders and follow-ups, two-way texting with customers, and, on the top plan, a marketing suite, an AI receptionist and dedicated onboarding. Online payments and a QuickBooks Online sync are on their plans today; in Tech Ops both are still coming.
04 Where Tech Ops is different
A couple of things Tech Ops doesn't do yet: customers paying invoices online by card, and a live QuickBooks Online sync. Both are coming. Today the invoice list exports to a spreadsheet for your accountant.
05 Which one fits
If you're a residential home-service business that wants marketing, booking and payments in the same tool, Jobber is worth a look. If you're a small trade shop that lives on sites, equipment and parts on the trucks, and you want one price per person with clients free, that's what I built Tech Ops for.
