00 Built for HVAC

HVAC dispatch and service software

I'm a field tech. Here's how Tech Ops runs an HVAC shop: the calls, the units, the maintenance and the parts on the vans.

01 What you deal with

Hot days, full boards, and nobody knows what was done last time

The first heat wave hits and the no-cool calls stack up faster than you can sort them. Your tech pulls up to a rooftop unit somebody on your crew worked on last spring, and there's no record of what was done or what parts went in. The capacitor he needs is sitting on the other guy's van across town. And the maintenance agreements live in a spreadsheet that one person in the office understands.

That's what I built Tech Ops to fix. One app on the phone and in the office, and every unit, call and part ties back to the site it belongs to.

02 How Tech Ops handles it

What it does for your shop

Every one of these comes with every seat.

Every unit is an asset

Rooftop units, splits, furnaces, boilers, air handlers. Add them to the site with make, model and serial, and every ticket that touches a unit stays in its history. The next tech sees what the last one did.

QR labels on the equipment

Print a label for each unit and stick it on. Scan it on the roof and that unit comes up, with its history.

PM schedules

Set the maintenance once for a site and pick the units each visit covers. The visits get booked with their checklists, so spring and fall start-ups don't live in someone's head.

Dispatch board

Drag a call onto a tech. They see it in My Day, with today, tomorrow and the week, and the weather at their sites.

Parts on the van

Each van is its own stock location. A tech sees what's on his truck, moves parts onto the job, asks another van for a part, and the office orders what runs low. Every move is logged.

Quotes on the spot

Write the replacement quote from the ticket while you're standing at the unit. The customer approves it, change orders go the same way, and the invoice builds from the ticket's time and parts.

Nameplate photo (AI seat)

On an AI seat, take a photo of the nameplate and Millie reads the make, model and serial for you to check before it's saved.

Trips that keep the time

Travel, arrive, work, done. Each step is a tap, and the hours come from the job itself. There's no clock in or clock out to forget.

Client portal, free

Your customers log in free, put in their own service calls, see their sites and equipment, approve quotes and sign off finished work. They never see your costs or your other customers.

Chat, calls and meetings

Team chat, a chat on every ticket, voice and video calls with screen share, and a walkie button. Nobody has to text from their personal phone.

English, Spanish, French

Each person picks their own language in their profile, so your whole crew reads the app in the language they're comfortable with.
