00 Built for Fleet & diesel

Fleet and diesel repair software

I'm a field tech. Here's how Tech Ops runs a diesel shop: the units, the shop work, the yard and the road calls.

01 What you deal with

Every unit has a history, and the road call comes in at 2 a.m.

A diesel shop works on units, not addresses. Trucks and trailers come into the bay, sit in the yard, or break down on the side of the road. Every one has a VIN, a history and a customer who wants it back on the road yesterday. Parts live on shelves in the shop and on the service truck, and nobody's sure which.

Tech Ops tracks the unit, the job and the parts in one place, in the shop or on the road.

02 How Tech Ops handles it

What it does for your shop

Every one of these comes with every seat.

Trucks and trailers as assets

Every tractor, trailer and piece of equipment is an asset with its own history. Every ticket on that unit stays with it, so the next tech sees what was done.

VIN decode

Type in a VIN and the year, make and model come back. On an AI seat, take a photo of the VIN plate and Millie reads it for you to check.

Shop and yard work

Tickets for the bay and the yard, on the same dispatch board as everything else. Drag a job onto a tech; it shows in their My Day.

Road calls

A road call is a ticket with a trip: travel, arrive, work, done. The live map shows where your service truck is while it's on the trip.

Parts by shelf and truck

The shop shelves, the warehouse and each service truck are stock locations. Filters, belts, hoses: use them on the job and they go on the ticket. Ask for a part, order what runs low.

Quotes and approvals

Quote the repair from the ticket. The customer approves it, change orders go the same way, and the invoice builds from the ticket.

QR labels on the units

Print a label for each unit. Scan it and that truck or trailer comes up with its history.

Trips that keep the time

Travel, arrive, work, done. Each step is a tap, and the hours come from the job itself. There's no clock in or clock out to forget.

Client portal, free

Your customers log in free, put in their own service calls, see their sites and equipment, approve quotes and sign off finished work. They never see your costs or your other customers.

Chat, calls and meetings

Team chat, a chat on every ticket, voice and video calls with screen share, and a walkie button. Nobody has to text from their personal phone.

English, Spanish, French

Each person picks their own language in their profile, so your whole crew reads the app in the language they're comfortable with.
